Funerals

The death of a loved one is a time of sorrow, but also a time of hope. Through the Funeral Rites of the Church, we commend the deceased to God's loving mercy, pray for the repose of their soul, and find comfort in the promise of Christ's Resurrection.

At Prince of Peace, we are honored to walk with families during this difficult time. Our parish staff and clergy will work with you and your funeral home to plan the funeral liturgy and provide guidance throughout the process.

When a death occurs, please contact your chosen funeral home. They will coordinate with the parish office to schedule the funeral and begin the planning process. If you have questions or would like to speak with a member of our parish staff, please do not hesitate to contact the parish office.
